We have come to the last chapter of the book of Daniel. Here, we find the climax of the cosmic battle between Christ and Satan. The whole world, which has been a battleground for this unseen cosmic war, will become a visible battlefield with all of humanity plunged into conflict—a war against God’s people, the final war against Christ. What will happen, and how will it play out? Daniel 12 unveils the future, showing that Jesus Christ will stand up for us as our Mediator, intervening on our behalf when the whole world is calling for our blood.
